This was a modest and relatively uncomplicated restoration project that was completed in 1997.  One of a traditional early 20th century terrace of twelve dwellings 16, Linden Road had retained much of its original features. 

The overall appearance of such terraces is too often ruined by owners that use modern materials for "improvements" with little or no regard for the symmetry and uniformity of the whole terrace.  The Trust was therefore careful to retain the character of the building and to restore it as closely as possible to its original appearance.
